A R T E X P O N E W Y O R K 40-YEAR ANNIVERSARY
Artexpo New York is here.
It's the 40-Year Anniversary of Artexpo New York and an iconic celebration is in order. Artexpo New York is the "world's largest international fine art marketplace and the nation's longest running fair." The fair will again be at prestigious Pier 94, April 19-22 in New York City.
Artexpo New York XL will seek a retrospective on the economies of art in 2018. It's all about the new trends in art as seen by today's international artist and curator. This substantial investment in the U.S. by the galleries and collectors shape the art scene around us. In 2018, "Artexpo New York will host the largest selection of artists, museums, galleries and publishers, attending from a total of 51 countries around the world."
This years galleries will be focused on
African Art, Art on Immigration, Politics in Art, Feminism and Visual Abstract Technology. Interviews will also be available from exhibiting artists as well as associated curators and directors.
With an attendance of over 35,000 people annually, Artexpo New York has grown to new heights.
400+ artists will be displaying artwork, prints, paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, giclee, lithographs, glass works and more at this years offering.
This year also includes an education program with an in depth series of Topics & Trends seminars with moderated panel lectures. All presented by a group of selected leaders from all walks of the arts and it's businesses. Located at the main Education Pavilion every day of "Artexpo New York XL."
Artexpo New York has been in the art fair business for the long haul. They have added to the charisma of the New York art landscape. Some of the notable artists that have exhibited include Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg, Keith Haring, and Leroy Neiman.
