Design @ Dohm Alley is just that, an alley. However, these group of Princeton residents called the Princeton Futures are artists and educators that have transformed the unique space into an outdoor art gallery in the summertime. With robust sculptures and hanging art, this group has added a bit of culture on the bland streets of Princeton. Not just home to college students, Princeton has a thriving artist community. When I arrived it seemed that the alley was being curated by the Traction Company, a Philadelphia based art collective.

Dohm Alley is a magical urban portal to remove you from your everyday life. The Moongate is an inviting doorway into a colorful and vibrant space. I find outdoor spaces difficult to manage. Most art looks bad on the outside. Sometimes art in the open air looks like someone is just throwing away trash. But this alley is a sight to behold captivating even the harshest critics such as myself. If you are looking for the alley, look between Starbucks and Landau on Nassau street. Be prepared for a real treat and maybe you will take away a bit of that magic on your day to day.
