T he Guggenheim New York unveils their vast holdings of modern art that shaped the century. Many of the works in the exhibit were collected by their founder Solomon. Some of the most important artists include Constatin Brancusi, Marc Chagall, Vasily Kandinsky, Kasimir Malevich Mondrian and Miro.
This exhibit's essential ingredient is non-representational painting in which Mondrian and Kandinsky were masters molding the future of art. These groundbreaking artists paved the way for the abstract expressionists who furthered nonobjective painting. It is without a doubt that this period of time in Europe and Russia proved to be the most important innovation in art just as when the Impressionists carved their deep footprint in Europe against the rigid monarch-driven art of the time.
One can see up close and personal just how these masters gradually fell into abstract art. It is literally a historical process in which you, the audience, are an intrinsic part of.
This important exhibit runs from April 29 2016 to Febuary 1st 2017. If you are in New York at this time this is one Museum show you do not want to miss.
