The Vincent Price Art Museum, located in East Los Angeles College's stunning campus, is a beautiful museum that houses Vincent Price's collection of art. He had collected the works over the long length of his illustrious career. From archaic-like ceramics to vivid abstract works, Price had quite an eye for art and it shows.

On April, 23 2016 at the Museum, there were three consecutive exhibits running on three different floors. On the top floor was the permanent collection, Form and Function in the Ancient Americas, showcasing beautiful clay works Price collected with delight. On the same level also showed more from the permanent collection, The Makings of Mexican Modernism, which displayed several contemporary Mexican artists who are still alive to this day.

On the ground level an exhibit by an artist who brings forth De Stijl-like paintings in line with Frank Lloyd Wright, Thomas Kapsalis and Mondrian. Clean lines and all the right colors make for a feast for eyes. Linda Arreola is an artist that has all the right elements making her a first rate contemporary painter and sculptor with a love of minimalism and the clean lines of the past.

If you live in Los Angeles or are visiting you owe it to yourself to visit this fascinating museum that does not disappoint. Not to mention the permanent collection is so vast they do not display all the work, most of it is housed in the museum's vault below the museum.
