Katie Truk has recently showcased her groundbreaking sculptures in a new exhibit at the Morris Museum in New Jersey. The exhibit, entitled "NEW SCULPTURE/NEW JERSEY," displays eleven sculptors working in various different mediums. These artists together all strive for a contemporary vision.

Truk has stood out to our writers having that special quality that makes her artwork unique and original while pulling the viewer into a new bold world. Using fabrics and wires, Katie stretches fibers into sculptures that can be hung like paintings. An amazing transformation of common materials into sculpture that sets the viewer into a dream-like apparatus.
